Admissions

Scoil Triest caters for students with a dual diagnosis of autism and an intellectual disability in the mild to moderate range. Applications for the 2027/2028 school year open on 1 October 2026.

How to apply

1. Read the Admission Policy. It sets out who can be admitted and how places are allocated when there are more applications than places.
2. Complete the Application Form for the 2027/2028 school year. Both documents are below, or the school will post or email them on request.
3. Return the form to the school between 1 October 2026 and 14 January 2027, by post to Scoil Triest, Lota, Glanmire, Co. Cork, or by email to info@scoiltriest.ie.
4. Decisions are issued by 4 February 2027. An offer must be accepted by 17 February 2027, or it may be withdrawn.

There are 11 places available for 2027/2028. Late applications are considered in accordance with the Admission Policy. Full details, including last year's figures, are in the Annual Admission Notice.
